The debut issue of NUE Bay Area magazine, Spring/Summer 2024, features Cassandra Amor Wells as both its cover star and publisher. Cassie exemplifyies the vibrant, dynamic energy of the Bay Area’s creative community. Photographed by Paul Tocatlian, a fashion and editorial photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, the images bring Cassie’s vision to life, highlighting her journey and the essence of her brand.
In collaboration with the team at Bellarmine Salon for hair and makeup, the suit design of Smith + Palestro, and the exquisite pieces from Butones Jewelry, this issue truly showcases local talent at its finest. Cassie’s strength, creativity, and dedication shine through every frame, making this project a testament to her hard work and passion.
This issue marks the 146th time my photographs have been published in a magazine, but it holds a special place in my heart. It’s a local magazine celebrating the unique talents within our community through powerful imagery and storytelling. The magazine made its debut at The Next Bay Area Runway, an event that perfectly encapsulated the spirit of innovation and collaboration.
