Strings of Creativity: The Story of ‘RUN MY WAY’ Album Cover

What happens when you mix the unique styles of four singers and musicians into one powerful song? “RUN MY WAY,” the latest release by Khaysie featuring CassieOfAllTrades, DJ Thick, and Drew Makes Music, is the answer. This fresh track is now available on all major music platforms, ready to take listeners on a journey through different genres.

Khaysie’s soulful voice leads the track, perfectly complemented by CassieOfAllTrades’ vocals. This release is also special for me because it’s the first time photography by Paul Tocatlian has been featured on an album cover. The photos were taken in a home studio with a simple white backdrop and two off-camera strobes. I’ve included some of the original photos from the shoot.

The cover, designed by Ja’Dasia Rose, blends raw images that capture each artist’s essence into a standout collage. Ja’Dasia, visual artist, digital creator, and model who recently walked at The Next Bay Area Runway III, brought together my photography with her creative design.

The album cover itself is an artistic gem. CassieOfAllTrades is at the center, looking like a masterful puppeteer. Dressed in a striking pink robe and a plush white hat, she controls delicate strings that connect to the other three artists, who appear as lively puppets brought to life by her hands. Drew Makes Music, on the left, is captured mid-solo with his electric guitar, full of passion and energy. In the middle, DJ Thick strikes a confident pose, embodying the beat of the track. On the right, Khaysie mixes soulful intensity with a playful edge.
