Outside of her title, Tong Yu is the founder of Congi Technology Partners, a tech consulting firm that connects Chinese engineers with American companies. Her firm enhances industry efficiency through improved cross-cultural collaboration, offering cost-effective solutions while fostering stronger ties between the two nations. Her advocacy extends to her role as a fundraising committee member at CINGS (China Institute Next Gen x Serica), an organization dedicated to promoting cultural exchange.
In addition to her entrepreneurial and advocacy work, Tong Yu is currently pursuing a dual degree in Computer Science and Mathematics at Columbia University while working as an engineer at a major software company in Silicon Valley.
