When I first met Cassandra Amor Wells, I knew she was someone who truly gets it. She is not just another entrepreneur in the beauty world. Her vision reaches far beyond hair. Featured in the first issue of COPIED Magazine by The Next Bay Area Runway, Cassie and her brand, HOELI Hair, are all about creating something bigger than products. It’s about making people feel good. Inside and out. As she does in every aspect of her work.
HOELI Hair is like a breath of fresh air in a world where we’re constantly juggling 100 things at once. It’s haircare that’s simple, thoughtful, and kind to your hair, your mind, and the planet. Vegan, sulfate-free, paraben-free. Check, check, and check. But more than that, it’s about building rituals that remind you to pause and take care of yourself.
Behind the Scenes: Shooting with Cassie
The photoshoot for COPIED Magazine was a special one for me. Cassie showed up looking absolutely radiant in a shimmering dress by Scott Braxton, paired with delicate-yet-bold jewelry by Miae Nelson. The location, a mix of urban grit and soft ivy-covered walls on Santana Row, was the perfect backdrop. The way the light hit her gown added this beautiful contrast, and it felt like the setting was reflecting the ethos of HOELI Hair: bold, elegant, and deeply connected.
Cassie has this effortless energy that made every frame feel alive. As a photographer, moments like these are what it’s all about, when you’re not just capturing a person but the heart of what they stand for. And with Cassie, that’s empowerment. She brings this authenticity to everything she does, and it’s impossible not to feel inspired when you’re around her.
My Journey with HOELI Hair
I have to admit, after the shoot, I got curious. So I picked up two HOELI products that Cassie raved about: the 1111 Deep Clean Shampoo and the 2222 Hydrate Conditioner. Let me tell you, it’s no exaggeration to say they’ve become my go-to.
The 1111 Shampoo? It’s like giving your scalp a fresh start every time. It doesn’t just clean; it resets. You know that feeling when your hair feels light and fresh, and suddenly you don’t hate Mondays so much? Yeah, it’s that.
And the 2222 Conditioner is pure comfort in a bottle. It doesn’t weigh your hair down but leaves it soft, hydrated, and just… happy. My hair genuinely feels stronger, and I’ve noticed it’s less frizzy.
What’s wild is that these products don’t just make your hair look great. They make you feel great. Each one comes with a little angel number affirmation, which might sound quirky, but honestly? It’s nice to have that gentle reminder of self-worth worked into something as routine as washing your hair.
What next?
If you’re looking for something to shake up your routine, not just for your hair but for yourself, HOELI Hair is worth a try. It’s not about perfection or big transformations; it’s about small moments of self-care that remind you to breathe, reset, and feel good in your own skin (and hair).
