A photoshoot collaboration stands out when models, wardrobe, and location come together to tell a meaningful story. For Victor Sanchez and Mary Kuznetsova, the Legion of Honor in San Francisco provided the perfect setting to showcase their style, personality, and artistry in harmony.
Earlier that afternoon, while waiting for Victor and Mary to arrive, I had the chance to shoot Brian and his Lacey53. Despite sharing the same location and day, these two sessions couldn’t have been more distinct. Victor and Mary’s shoot exuded timeless elegance and refinement, while Brian’s session with Lacey53 brimmed with bold energy and charisma.
Same day, same place, yet so different. Both equally memorable.

Creative Direction and Design Excellence
This photoshoot was a collaborative effort led by Mayra Aguiar, who orchestrated every element of the photoshoot. Victor’s tuxedo, designed by Robert Paul, radiates classic elegance with a modern twist. The textured black jacket, paired with a crisp white shirt and black bow tie, underscores his confident and refined presence. Complementing him, Mary’s gown, by Janet Medina, is a vision of ethereal beauty. The shimmering fabric flows effortlessly with intricate beadwork and a dramatic train, making her a captivating focal point against the timeless architecture of the Legion of Honor.

A Showcase of Elegance and Poise
One of the most memorable and impromptu moments from the shoot captures Victor adjusting his bow tie as he confidently walks away from Mary. This image tells a story of purpose and individuality. Another favorite moment features Mary in quiet reflection. The soft light enhances the shimmer of her gown as she leans against the column, embodying strength and grace. These scenes celebrate presence, confidence, and a deep connection to the setting.
The Role of the Legion of Honor
The Legion of Honor became an integral part of the story. Its towering columns and serene symmetry enhance the visual impact of the project, drawing attention to every detail of Victor and Mary’s presence. The clean lines and timeless grandeur of the architecture amplify the sophistication of their wardrobe and elevate the overall aesthetic of the shoot.
Why the Setting Matters
The Legion of Honor elevates this photoshoot by providing a timeless atmosphere that enhances every detail. Its grandeur and serene ambiance transform each frame into a masterpiece. The neutral tones and architectural strength of the location offer the perfect balance for bold fashion choices and compelling storytelling.
