Laia Albert will step onto the stage at Miss Glamorous International this Saturday, March 22, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Representing Spain, she brings with her a story of resilience, creativity, and deep cultural pride.
At 28, Laia has embraced a life full of purpose. She works in security at Apple Corporate and continues to dedicate herself to both creativity and community. With 16 years of modeling experience, she has walked runways, coached aspiring models, and explored acting, directing, and styling. Her passion reaches far beyond fashion. She devotes time to supporting individuals facing disabilities, mental health challenges, and homelessness. Through her work with nonprofits like Love Changing the World and MusiQ Production, Laia is committed to making a difference.
For her, Miss Glamorous International is more than a competition. It is a platform to share her story, to encourage others to embrace who they are, and to show that confidence grows from lived experience. Laia approaches this moment grounded in everything she has learned and everything she continues to stand for.
In the lead-up to the event, we spent time at two of San Francisco’s most iconic locations. Each place offered a glimpse into a different part of Laia’s journey.
Legion of Honor: Strength and Elegance
The Legion of Honor offered a powerful setting. Its grand architecture and sweeping columns mirrored Laia’s quiet strength. Wearing a bold red and black dress, she moved with confidence and ease. Her posture and presence reflected her deep connection to Spanish culture and her experience as a model and mentor. Nothing about her energy felt forced. She was beautiful and self-assured.
This location brought out Laia’s grounded side. She wasn’t trying to impress. She was simply showing up as herself, shaped by years of dedication and growth.
Palace of Fine Arts: Movement and Grace
The Palace of Fine Arts created a softer mood. The golden light and architectural beauty added warmth and flow to the session. In a flowing red gown, Laia moved with quiet grace. The way the fabric caught the wind added a sense of freedom to every frame. She wasn’t performing. She was letting the moment speak for itself.
This part of the shoot reflected her ease and openness. She showed that strength also lives in gentleness and that being present can be just as powerful as being bold.
A Night of Celebration and Purpose
