Laia Albert’s radiant smile lights up the cover of CoverStory Magazine Issue 9/2025 and I couldn’t be prouder to have captured this special moment. This cover is a beautiful portrait that tells the story of someone who lives with intention, leads with compassion, and shows others how to rise with purpose. Photographing Laia is always a joy. Her grace, authenticity, and calm presence make every shoot feel like a collaboration, not just a session. She brings her whole heart to evert project.

From Miss Glamorous to Community Champion

Laia recently represented Spain at Miss Glamorous International 2025, where she was honored as 1st Runner-Up and Miss Stage Presence. I had the chance to photograph her for that milestone as well, and her quiet strength was unmistakable. What stood out most wasn’t just her confidence or poise but how she uplifts everyone around her.

Proud of her diverse heritage, Native American, Filipina (Ilocano), Guatemalan, and Spaniard, Laia brings her full self to every space she enters. With over 16 years of modeling experience, she’s not only walked countless runways but now helps others do the same as a model coach and mentor. She’s appeared in more than 20 magazine covers and starred in music videos, including Adrian Marcel’s latest release. She also serves as Model Coordinator for Silicon Valley Fashion Week and Star A Culture.

A Voice for Service and Creative Growth

Laia’s influence extends far beyond fashion. She is the face of Love Changing the World, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting communities through compassion and support. As Executive Stage & Impact Director at MusiQ Production, she helps guide the next wave of talent with warmth and vision.

This phrase isn’t just a personal mantra. It’s a coaching program Laia developed to help others grow from within. She often tells her team, “You can’t dim the light on someone who survived it.” That light shines through everything she touches.

Laia always credits the people who helped shape her path. She often expresses appreciation for her director, Jayden Delacruz, for encouraging her to stay grounded and reconnect with her mission. She’s also touring with Pinay Magazine, who have offered her immense support. Community is everything to Laia, and she carries that love with her every step of the way.
