What does it take to make fashion feel unforgettable? The answer often lies in the chemistry between the design and the person wearing it. The Spring/Summer 2025 “Love Collection” for West Coast Leather by Skip Pas came to life in the heart of San Francisco, where design, light, and movement aligned for the story we set out to tell.
For this shoot, we focused on one of the standout designs from the collection: the Black and White Color Block Love Biker Leather Jacket paired with matching Two-Tone Skinny Leg No Pocket Leather Pants. While other colors are available in the collection, this bold monochrome look captured the story we wanted to tell.

At the heart of this story is Darlene, West Coast Leather’s new model, whose expressive movement and fierce confidence brought the collection to life in every frame.
A Statement in Black and White
It all started on a breezy afternoon, with the soft hum of city life echoing through the Moscone Center. Darlene stepped onto the concrete, wrapped in the Black and White Color Block Love Biker Leather Jacket. You could feel the shift immediately. Heads turned. Conversations paused. The look had presence.

The jacket’s clean lines and bold contrasts gave it a sculptural feel, but Darlene wore it with ease. Paired with the Two-Tone Skinny Leg No Pocket Leather Pants and their exposed ankle zippers, she created a rhythm with every step. As I looked through the lens, each click captured her shifting moods: confident, playful, pensive.
The Perfect Backdrop
The Moscone Center’s design echoed everything the collection stood for: geometry, movement, and bold simplicity. Water cascaded over stone in the distance. Concrete pillars created shadows that danced across Darlene’s frame. The contrast between the location and the outfit created an beautiful harmony.

In one shot, she stood still, arms slightly raised, jacket edges fluttering in the breeze. In another, she leaned back against a ledge, her body relaxed, eyes steady. These were moments suspended in time, shaped by setting and style.
A Joyful Edge
What truly stood out wasn’t just the structure of the clothes. It was the emotion behind them. At one point, Darlene laughed as she spun, catching the lining of the jacket in the air. The pink popped against the grey surroundings. That laughter was real, and so was the joy that came with it.
Priced at $1500, this jacket was more than fashion. It was storytelling in color. The pants, at $795, grounded the look in confidence and versatility. For new clients, West Coast Leather even offers a 10% discount, making the experience even more welcoming.
Fashion as Expression

Skip Pas doesn’t just design for the runway. He designs for movement, emotion, and presence. Every element in the Love Collection felt personal. His work doesn’t shout. It speaks with clarity and conviction.
As a fashion and editorial photographer, these are the moments I chase. Not just poses, but the pauses between them. The way a garment shifts as someone breathes. The way an expression softens into something unscripted. That’s where the story lives.
