Barbara Dial Schubert is on the cover of OFF TOWN Magazine’s January 2025 issue, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this editorial with you. Together, we turned the word “NO” into a bold, personal, and unapologetic statement.

The January 2025 special edition highlights Barbara Dial Schubert, an actress and model whose energy, style, and unapologetic presence bring power and nuance to everything she does. More than just a fashion spread, this feature tells a story about boundaries, identity, and the freedom found in standing firm.
At the heart of the shoot is one small but commanding word:
NO.
Not whispered.
Not softened.
Just NO.
Barbara wears this word boldly, emblazoned across oversized, angular sunglasses that challenge expectations.
This isn’t “no” as rejection.
It’s “no” as self-definition.
It’s the clarity of knowing your limits, the strength to protect your time, and the freedom to choose what truly matters. In a world that pressures us to say yes to everything, we wanted to explore what happens when we embrace the power of saying no.
The shoot was inspired by a simple but radical question: What if “no” was the most empowering word you could wear?
With each pose, Barbara turned that question into a visual answer. Whether rooted in place with arms crossed or caught mid-leap in a burst of movement, she radiated confidence and authenticity. Her expressions, her body language, and her vibe made it clear: saying “no” is not the end of a conversation. It’s the beginning of something real.
Barbara wore a cropped white tee with dramatic slashes revealing an abstract print underneath, paired with wide-legged parachute pants and fresh white sneakers.
Her tattoos were proudly on display.
Her sunglasses were bold and geometric.
Every detail amplified the message.
The backdrop featured industrial textures and clean architectural lines, offering a minimalist setting that emphasized strength and self-expression.
Each image from this shoot is a reminder that boundaries aren’t walls. They’re bridges to clarity and confidence.
Saying “no” isn’t negative.
It’s necessary.
It opens the door to intentional choices and empowered creativity.
Seeing this story take the cover spot in OFF TOWN Magazine is a memorable moment. Not just because of the visual impact, but because of the message it shares. When fashion and storytelling come together with purpose, the result can be both beautiful and bold.
We’re proud of the story these images tell and honored to see them featured in this trade publication.
