Hiro made the cover of OFF TOWN Magazine and I’m grateful to share this feature with you. This wasn’t just a photoshoot. It was a chance to slow down, let go, and see what could unfold without a fixed plan. We photographed in San Francisco, approaching things with openness and trust. No expectations. No overthinking.

Creating Space for Something New
The cover feature came out of a simple idea. Step outside what I normally do and follow what feels true. We didn’t go into it trying to make a cover. We just wanted to create something that felt real.
Hiro brought that energy right away. His stillness had weight. He didn’t need to perform. He didn’t need to pose. Just being there, grounded in the moment, was enough.
That kind of presence shaped the direction of the shoot. It reminded me that not everything has to be planned. Sometimes what matters most is just showing up fully.
The Streets of San Francisco
San Francisco added its own voice to the story. Cracks in the pavement, sun hitting the side of a wall, a STOP sign underfoot. These details weren’t props. They were part of the rhythm.
We didn’t move quickly. We waited. Watched how the light shifted. How the space felt. The cover image reflects that. It carries the spirit of the city, the quiet confidence of the model, and the honesty of the process.
Styling the Edge
What Hiro wore wasn’t about making a statement. It was about ease. A leather jacket. Worn denim. Boots that looked like they belonged on those streets. A flannel shirt tied at the waist. Just what felt right in the moment. It’s that balance, intentional but unforced, that gave the shoot its tone. A kind of understated confidence that came through in every frame.
Being on the Cover
Seeing this work on the cover of OFF TOWN Magazine feels meaningful. Not just because of the placement, but because of how the image came to life. That kind of creative process is something I want more of. Honest collaboration. Trusting the people, the space, and the story.
Let’s Tell the Next Story Together
If you’re a brand, designer, model, or creative looking to create something intentional and real, let’s connect. I’m always open to working with people who care about storytelling through imagery.
